Saint Mary of the Assumption
Rev. Fr. Craig R. Eilerman

Dear parishioners,

This week we welcome to the parish staff, Dawn Burley, as our new Parish Administrator. As you will read in her biography below, Dawn is a member of the parish and is coming to us from Fisher Catholic High School. Please give her a warm welcome when you get a chance. It is my hope that you have been able during this long holiday weekend to take a rest and to be refreshed in the Lord.

It has been a long spring and unfortunately, it does not look like we are much closer to seeing the end of the Corona Virus. So take to heart the words of our Lord in this Sunday’s Gospel “Come to me all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest”. Spend time with the Lord in prayer, allowing him to renew your spirits. We will get through this, but it is good for us to remember that even in the midst of a pandemic our God is with us.

Let us continue to pray for each other.

Father Craig R. Eilerman
Pastor

Hello, my name is Dawn Burley and I am looking forward to becoming part of an amazing team at St. Mary’s Parish in the role of Parish administrator. For the past 20 years, I have been the Business Manager at Fisher Catholic High School. My husband, Brent, and I have been members of St. Mary Parish for 25 years. We have 2 amazing children. Our son, Jacob is a recent graduate of Cornell University and will begin teaching at Fisher Catholic High School in the fall. He is also newly married. Our daughter Emma will be starting her junior year at Kent State University this fall. I am looking forward to my new role at St. Mary and hope to become a valuable asset to the Parish.
