With all the weather events, staff and students had a hard time getting to school during January and February. Spring will be here soon!

The 7th and 8th grade science fair had to be delayed by a day due to weather. St. Mary is excited to be sending sixteen students to the district science fair in March.

We celebrated a shortened Catholic School Week at the end of January. Luckily we were cable to celebrate Mass with Bishop Campbell at Fisher Catholic together with St. Bernadette School and St. John School from Logan. As part of Catholic Schools Week, St. Mary collected food which was distributed to the St. Vincent dePaul Society for those in need in our community.

To celebrate their 100th day in school, the first grade collected 100 cans of food to be included in the St. Vincent dePaul Society drive. They also created t-shirts featuring 100 things which they were able to model for the rest of the school.

Congratulations to the 7th grade girls basketball team who took first place in the MSL conference tournament!

COSI on Wheels made a visit to our school in February and got everyone excited about chemistry. Thanks to the parents and Fisher Catholic students who came and helped run the experiment stations.
