OUTREACH MINISTRIES
In John 20:21, Jesus tells us, “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
But what does God send us to do?
Monsignor Eilerman answers this question in the Ministries and Activities Booklet for the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption Church (St. Mary), which is soon to be released. He states that the Lord desires for us, as His Church, to:
1. Proclaim the Word of God to others (evangelize);
2. Celebrate the Sacraments (worship); and
3. Exercise the ministry of charity (help those in need).
The Outreach Ministries of St. Mary provide a means for us to be faithful to the Lord by helping those who are in need.
