Grace and peace be with you,
In today’s first reading we are told that God will fulfill His promises and deliver the Israelites from the evil in the world. He will unite them, bring them together. In this time of uncertainty, this is exactly what we should be hoping for. I’m sure we have all seen the ways in which people are staying connected. Facetime, Zoom, the various social media websites, they are all keeping us together, even though we are apart.
My challenge for us today is to have us call to mind all the times God has come through with his promises. In those times we can remember His goodness and praise Him for it. That praise can then fuel our hope for deliverance. In these last few days before Easter, let us remember the goodness of God and pray for everlasting life.
As always, I am praying for all of you, please continue to pray for me and the youth.

Let us Pray,

O God, who have made all those reborn in Christ
a chosen race and a royal priesthood,
grant us, we pray, the grace to will and to do what you command,
that the people called to eternal life
may be one in the faith of their hearts
and the homage of their deeds.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
