The Octave of Prayer for Christian Unity runs from January 18 through the 25. The Sunday which falls during the Octave is known as Ecumenical Sunday. St. Mary of the Assumption Parish is hosting a joint Evening Prayer that Sunday, January 23 at 4:00 pm. All Christians in the Lancaster area, Protestant, Evangelical, Orthodox, and Catholic are invited to come together in prayer. Ministers from a number of the local congregations will be participating. A light reception will follow in the Spirit Center Please plan on attending.
