During the past few months there were a series of phony e-mails being sent to Catholic’s from alleged priests of the Diocese – including a phony one from Bishop Campbell – requesting funds to purchase iTunes and other gift cards for alleged charitable reasons.
Now there is a new scam – using text messages to convey similar requests. Fr. Eilerman will not ask parishioners via email or text message for money/gift cards for any corporal works.
