St. Mary Adult Choir is beginning a new season of singing and we’d love to invite any singers who might be interested in joining us. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings in the choir loft from 7:00-8:30. We sing regularly at the Sunday 8:45 Mass and also for many feast days. We begin our season of singing this Wednesday, August 28th.
St. Mary Children’s Choir is now accepting new singers for this coming year. We rehearse on Wednesday afternoons from 2:45-3:45. If your child is in 3rd-5th grade, they are most welcome to join us! Our first practice is Wednesday, August 28th. If this is your first year to join, please call Mrs. Sharon Silleck to let her know to look for your new singer! 614-419-5768 Our choir members learn about singing well, being a choir member, learning about our Catholic faith, understanding the Church’s liturgical year and our essential role in the music ministry of St Mary of the Assumption Church.
St. Mary Schola Choir is resuming rehearsals for this year. This is our advanced children’s choir and many of our seasoned children’s choir members graduate to this choir after having sung for a few years. St. Mary Funeral Choir rehearses on the second Friday of each month (10:15-11:00) and sings for all parish funerals. If you find yourself with a desire to sing and a schedule that can accommodate 10:30 funerals occasionally, we’d love to have you be with us as we minister to families at the funeral Mass of their loved ones.
