Bees are also written of by St. John Chrysostom as an image of the Church, especially because a bees labor is done not for itself, but for others. Bees are even found in St. Peter&#8217;s Bascilica among the flowers on the columns of the great baldachin of the Altar of the Confession.<\/p>\n<p>Exultet: &#8220;&#8230;On this, your night of grace, O holy Father, accept this candle, a solemn offering, the work of bees and of your servants&#8217; hands, an evening sacrifice of praise, this gift from your most holy Church.
