Jubilee Year – Entry Dec 2024:
\n<\/strong>This coming Jubilee Year will offer the faithful opportunities to participate in various events at the Vatican and in their own dioceses. The great tradition of opening the Holy Door wil begin when Pope Francis opens the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica on December 24. For the Church of Columbus, Bishop <\/span>Fernandes will inaugurate the Jubilee Year on Sunday, December 29. He will celebrate the parish Mass at Holy Cross Church at 9:00 AM <\/span>and immediately afterwards will lead the faithful in a procession from Holy Cross to the Cathedral of St. Joseph. The official inauguration is the celebration of the 10:30 AM<\/span> Mass at the Cathedral. The Cathedral of St. Joseph and the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, Lancaster, are the designated pilgrimage churches in the Diocese of Columbus.<\/p>\n
