July 2022 Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a little while since we sent out an RPRF Newsletter. Parishes spread the word about the survey for the second round draft models and you took the time to answer it. The response was overwhelming; thank you! The info graph below shows just some of the demographic highlights.<\/p>\n

Not only are the members of the team here at the Diocese reading your feedback, but the members of the Real Presence, Real Future Commission for Planning<\/a>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>are as well. This group of lay faithful and permanent deacons have been reading your comments over the last 6 weeks. They are generously volunteering their time and energy to understanding what the main comments, questions and concerns are from the faithful of the Diocese. Their recommendations will be presented to Bishop Fernandes at the end of August for him to study as he travels the Diocese and visits parishes and apostolates.<\/p>\n

The third and final recommendations will be available to review at realpresencerealfuture.org<\/a> at the end of August. These will be the final recommendations, but not yet the final decisions nor the plan for implementation. There is a lot more work for all of us to do in this important initiative. Most importantly to pray!<\/p>\n
