How beautiful to post this full-time position today, Candlemas, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord!
The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption is seeking a full-time hire to serve as the Director of Religious Education. Help others in the human family to know that in Jesus Christ, the prophecy of Ezekiel has been fulfilled. Help lead adults and young people to fully embrace and allow the Lord to live in them and bring them healing and restoration; help men and women who are seeking Jesus to find Him in His Church and to enter life in Him in the sacraments of Initiation; help fellow baptized Christians who are seeking more to find the fullness of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church and to embrace her fullness of teaching, sacraments, and complete their Christian Initiation. Help all through education and formation to grow into the fullness of Christian worship in the sacred liturgy and continue that on by the worship of God in their lives, Train and mentor young people to serve at the Altar of the Christian Passover Sacrifice and Meal.
